Octave Mandolin
& Bouzouki

Octave mandolin 58cm (22.8") scale
Bouzouki 65cm (25 1/2") scale

My Octave Mandolins (also known as octave mandolas) have a scale length of 580 mm (22.8") and are usually tuned GDAE (one octave below the Mandolin).
These are carved-top instruments, with excellent projection for melody playing and a strong, solid chord sound for accompanying.
Indian Rosewood is used for the back and sides, giving the instrument added tonal depth and resonance. The top is hand carved spruce.
